On Darren Aronofsky’s Movie "Noah"

Hi Friends, Just want to get this up because you all are asking "what the??" regarding the "Noah" movie.   The screen values and special effects were excellent, but it clearly wasn't the story we all grew up with. There is a very important explanation for that, of which will help you navigate and understand the times in which we are living.  This is what I am posting.  Here is some really good commentary on the movie's (and the occult's) version of the story of Noah. In addition, I find Brian Mattson, whose information is the bulk of this post, is a good source to return to on scholarly commentary on contemporary films if your looking for the really good stuff.

I'll start with a video clip by Brian Mattson so you can get to know him; I think you will find his work very informative.

Here is the introduction to the article "Sympathy For The Devil", Brian is talking about, in the above video, that went viral:

"In Darren Aronofsky’s new star-gilt silver screen epic, Noah, Adam and Eve are luminescent and fleshless, right up until the moment they eat the forbidden fruit.
Such a notion isn’t found in the Bible, of course. This, among the multitude of Aronofsky’s other imaginative details like giant Lava Monsters, has caused many a reviewer’s head to be scratched. Conservative-minded evangelicals write off the film because of the “liberties” taken with the text of Genesis, while a more liberal-minded group stands in favor of cutting the director some slack. After all, we shouldn’t expect a professed atheist to have the same ideas of “respecting” sacred texts the way a Bible-believer would.
Both groups have missed the mark entirely. Aronofsky hasn’t “taken liberties” with anything.
The Bible is not his text."  (full article)
Here is the full text to the book Brian recommends Ireneus of Lyon's book "Against Heresies" to hone your ability to identify the various occult characters and themes when they show up in the arts.

Also, check out these additional, very interesting, commentary's Mr. Mattson wrote on Noah:
The Real Issue
Keep Handling The Real Thing
Kicking Down An Open Door
As Long As Were Talking Film Subversion (Noah's C-writer Speaks)
The World That Then Was

Mr. Mattson also linked to this commentary from the Christian film maker ministry of Brian Godwa titled "Ramifications of Noah" post at the "Dead Reckoning; what guides you" website which is a collection of Brian Mattson's short videos.

If you, or someone you know is involved in Christian film making, Brian Godwa's filmmaking page has a lot of resources for the Christian fim maker including help on developing your story line, presenting worldviews, he has a movie blog, etc; it is really worth passing on the link.
